Hi, I'm Joel

Hi there!

I’ve been a professional photographer and videographer since 2008 and I founded Joel Ryder Media as a company in 2012, and since then I have delivered a diverse range of projects for clients.

Every project matters, and every project affords an opportunity to work collaboratively with my clients to achieve visual excellence, and provide a service that is unique to their vision.

I’ve delivered professional photography and videography services in some of London’s finest locations: Lambeth Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the Natural History Museum, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Royal Albert Hall, West End theatres, and many more!

I love a challenge, and my imagination goes as far as you can take it. I’ve filmed gin-sipping swans on the courts of Wimbledon, drag and cabaret shows in Soho, and even the world’s largest cake show at the NEC arena!

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have proudly worked for iconic LGBTQ+ businesses, such as the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Attitude magazine, and Pride in London
